Jay-Z’s $20 Million Track Reference Was An Advance For Kanye West’s Saint Pablo Tour

Jay-Z dropped his 13th album entitled ‘4:44’ last week and it’s been a trending topic ever since. His feud with Kanye West seems to be equally as important.

Lyrics in one of the tracks, ‘Kill Jay Z,’ caused speculation that Jay Z is referring to Ye, as he raps: “But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye // You gave him 20 million without blinkin’ // He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f*** was he thinkin’? // ‘F*** wrong with everybody?’ is what you sayin’ // But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane.”

TMZ initially reported West was breaking ties with screaming service, Tidal, because of a money dispute−what Jay rapped about in ‘Kill Jay Z.’

According to TMZ, the $20 million Jay-Z references was reportedly an advance to cover production costs and staff for Ye’s Saint Pablo tour.

Although the Pablo rapper’s decision to part ways with the streaming service came soon after the song’s release, it reportedly had nothing to do with the lyrics.

However, sources still say his decision was over money that Ye hasn’t received for alleged subscription bonuses and music video expenses.

In the event that Kanye takes his talents to one of their competitors, Hov is reportedly prepared to take legal action, but sources tell TMZ that Ye’s over the exclusive deals.

We’re hoping this ‘beef’ isn’t what it appears to be and ends soon…
