Tyga got a chance to catch up with ‘The Breakfast Club’ Thursday after almost two years. It was pretty obvious the tea had been brewing after the rapper gave a hefty rundown of his life, the Kardashians and more.
Check out 7 things we learned during his interview:
1. Tyga and Kylie Jenner first met at Kendall Jenner’s ‘Sweet Sixteen’ birthday party and they allegedly started officially dating years later. Tyra claimed his image may have been damaged because of it.
The rapper explained he took a ‘big hit’ when he went from dating a black girl to a young white girl. He also revealed that he and Kylie have been broken up for nearly seven months. Although the rapper admitted that he still has love for her, he expressed that he is no longer ‘in love’ with the reality star.
“It ain’t a losing thing. When you make a decision to not be in a relationship with somebody, y’all just make that decision, and y’all split ways.”
Although he didn’t disclose a concrete reason for the break-up, he said Kylie is constantly dealing with ‘image and perception.’
Tyga also wasn’t too fond of the Biggie Smalls and Tupac shirts that Kendall and Kylie tried to release.
Before Rob Kardashian, Blac Chyna dated and had a baby by Tyga. She then started dating Tyga’s now ex-girlfriend’s brother(Rob), after the two called it quits.
In the interview, Tyga claims he tried to school Rob on his childs’s mother.
“She just got a different mentality. She really is a good person at heart, but like she’s been through a lot in her life. She really didn’t have people to help guide her and stuff in her life.”
He also said he found out about Chyna and Rob’s relationship on the internet just like everyone else.
“I told homie, too. I told him what the play was.”
For starters, Drake and Tyga squashed their beef years ago, after Kanye got the two to mesh it out over conversation. As for the rest of the squad, he only truly communicates with Mac Maine.
Tyga admitted that he feels no ill feelings toward Travis Scott. In light that he and Kylie ended things months ago and that he and Travis never broke bread together–there are no hard feelings.
As far as 21 Savage goes, he says the two talked and even discussed doing music together. This comes after Savage tried to get at his former girlfriend via social media.
When asked about whether he believes the Kardashians ruin black men’s lives, he didn’t really give a straight answer. However, he did give a mini theory on the matter.
“They’re women driven. You know when like strong men come over there and try to kind of change that or kind of intervene what they got going on, then it kind of—it deflects it.”
“I never really did an official deal with them, it was a management thing.”
After paying almost $1 million to see his way out of Cash Money Records, rumors circulated that he signed with Yeezy. He said it was never an official deal, especially since he had just gotten out of a previous situation, which is still unresolved. Tyga revealed he’s owed at least $12 million from Cash Money.
Repossession and eviction stories seemed to crowd the internet while he was an unofficial member of the Kardashian family, but he revealed two of his luxury cars were never even repossessed.
“Whoever controls this kind of media doesn’t like seeing rappers with these type of women, especially young white women.”
Now that the rapper is single, he just recently released his ‘B*tch I’m The Sh*t 2’ mixtape, which dropped post interview on Friday. He’s also a part of the cast of MTV’s new ‘Scream’ reboot.
“I’m just really having a lot of fun being single, I haven’t had a bad day yet.”
Good to know you’re out of the ‘sunken place’ Tyga.
