Aaron Hernandez Attorney Insists Suicide Letter In Cell Was Not For A Gay Lover

Aaron Hernandez’s lawyer is denying allegations that the the former New England Patriot left behind a letter to his gay lover before committing suicide. 

Hernandez’s attorney states that letters were discovered inside of the prison cell; however, none of them addressed a male lover like the media is suggesting.

Hernandez’s lawyer, Jose Baez, tells TMZ Sports, “Rumors of letters to a gay lover, in or out of prison, are false. These are malicious leaks used to tarnish somebody who is dead.”

The D.A. announced Thursday 3 letters were next to Hernandez’s Bible, and that’s when the rumors began.

Baez said he is not prepared to say whether Hernandez’s death was suicide or foul play. He says, “There is still plenty we are investigating.”

Everyday this story takes a crazy turn, it seems like something out of a movie at this point.  These are real people and and these allegations will have real consequences. Regardless of how anyone feels about Aaron Hernandez, there’s a little girl who will one day grow up and read all of these things about her father.
