Bow Down: Honey Bunches Of Oats Lady, Diana Hunter, Retires From Factory After Over 40 Years

It’s no secret that Honey Bunches of Oats lady, Diana Hunter, is a natural born star—but what else do we know about this Queen? As it turns out, she just so happens to be a valued hard worker for the company as well.

According to BuzzFeed, Hunter finally said her last goodbyes to working at the factory in Battle Creek, MI, after gracing our television screens in various commercials as the unofficial face of the Post cereal.

In her first ad which appeared in 2015, Diana says: “I get out of work and I go to the store, and somebody is smelling around like, ‘Mmm, I smell cookies.’ And I said, ‘Oh no, you just smell me. I just got out of work. That’s Honey Bunches of Oats, that’s all.'”

From that moment, she’s captured everyone’s hearts by appearing in ads on multiple occasions, while reportedly working with the company for more than 40 years.

“She [is] a good friend that will be missed,” Hunter’s coworker told BuzzFeed via Facebook Messenger.

The colleague was able to confirm Hunter’s last day at the factor was September 1.

However, we still hope to see more of that hairnet, navy blue T-shirt, red hard hat, and glasses in some upcoming commercials, asking if we’re hungry for some oats.

Enjoy your well-deserved retirement, Queen!
