The Cavs saga has gotten juicier as the former NBA MVP has committed to sign a 1-year deal with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
According to Y! Sports,
Derrick Rose has committed to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers and completed his physical exam today, league sources tell The Vertical.
According to ESPN,
Free agent Derrick Rose has reached an agreement on a one-year, $2.1 million deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers, league sources tell ESPN.
Just last week, starting guard, Kyrie Irving, who help lead the Cavaliers to their first Championship in years, was reportedly dissatisfied with his role with the Cavs and has been interested in being traded. Now, looks like they have found a backup or better yet, a replacement.
Recently, Irving had this to say about to Cavs off-season,
“We just have to, you know, make sure that all our pieces are aligned first, and then we go from there. It’s the summertime, a lot of craziness going on in the NBA.”
As they say, the show must go on, and the Cavs main focus now is beating the Golden State Warriors who has trumped the Cavs twice in three years.
