DAMN GINA: Los Angeles Dodgers’ Yasiel Puig’s Home Burglarized During Game 7 of World Series

The city of Los Angeles is not waking up with the best news as their hometown Dodgers fell to the Houston Astros in Game 7, Wednesday night, 5-1. During the Dodgers and Astros’ championship match-up at Dodger stadium, burglars decided that it was the perfect time to make a visit to MLB All-Star and Dodger outfielder Yasiel Puig’s home.

According to CBS,

An LAPD watch commander confirmed the burglary investigation at Encino-area home, where a window was found smashed and items were taken. Thankfully, the LAPD confirmed that no one was in the home during the time of the burglary but it is still unclear how much the robbers stole. The burglars were spotted on video during the robbery but no further details on who the robber may be.

This year, Puig hasn’t been a stranger to having his home burglarized. In March, thieves managed to take over $170,000 worth of valuables from the outfielders then home in Sherman Oaks, California. So not only has Puig lost in the toughest way professionally on the field during the World Series, now his home has been taken advantage of yet again this year.
