Delta Airlines: Man Nearly Dies On Plane After Flight Attendant Dismisses Black Doctor

Delta Airlines is under public scrutiny after a flight attendant’s ignorance nearly cost a passenger’s life.

According to recent reports, a black OBGYN from Houston, Tamika Cross says that a flight attendant didn’t believe her doctor credentials when a male passenger became unresponsive twice mid-flight.

Cross informed via Facebook that when a physician was requested by a flight attendant, she raised her hand only to be dismissed.

“I raised my hand to grab her attention,” Cross wrote. “She said to me ‘oh no sweetie put ur hand down, we are looking for actual physicians or nurses or some type of medical personnel, we don’t have time to talk about you.’ I tried to inform her that I was a physician but I was continually cut off by condescending remarks.”

Surprisingly, the attendant eventually calls for her help after a series of questions regarding her background. Cross says she even received an apology and an offer for skylines, but Cross feels that the discrimination she experienced needs more than sky miles.

“I don’t want sky miles in exchange for blatant discrimination. Whether this was race, age, gender discrimination, it’s not right. She will not get away with this.”

And it looks like that ignorant flight attendant won’t either…. As of late, Tamika’s Facebook post has already went viral with more 72,000 likes and 28,00 shares.

Now, we wait for Delta’s response. Stay tuned. Until then, check out Tamika’s full post below:
