Marshawn Lynch a former running back for the Seattle Seahawks is ready to un-retire under one condition.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapopart, Lynch famously known as Beast Mode will come out of retirement to play for his hometown, the Oakland Raiders. Lynch was born and raised in Oakland, and wants to stay true to his roots.
The Oakland native retired in 2015 after a series of injuries plagued his football career. Lynch was named to the Pro Bowl in each of his four last seasons, and in seven games he rushed for 417 yards on 111 attempts.
There’s still no clue to whether the Seattle Seahawks will trade or cut Lynch in order to play for the Raiders, but there’s no doubt the Beast Mode is ready to takeover in 2017-18.
