Colin Kaepernick has been blacked balled by the NFL family after his protest of the national anthem last season by taking a knee in silence during pre-game ceremony. After becoming a NFL free agent, most would think a Super Bowl competing, second round, under the age of 30 years old QB would have a spot by now, right?
Many have come in defense of Kaepernick as most teams are entering training camps this week. One coach in particular has been in contact with Kaepernick throughout the summer. Baltimore Ravens head coach, John Harbaugh had this to say about Kaepernick,
“I’ve known Colin through my brother for many years. And we talked and then got to know him very well when he scrimmaged here. He and I have been talking throughout the summer a number of times. We had some great conversations on the phone and it’s really been a pleasure to talk to him and get to know him. I like history and politics too, and we’ve had some debates, and it’s been fun. And he’s a great guy. He’s a guy right now that’s being talked about. We’ll just see what happens with that. Only speculation right now. He’s a really good football player and like I said, I do believe he’ll be playing in the National Football League this year.”

According to the Baltimore Sun,
Harbaugh said he has been talking to Colin Kaepernick throughout summer. They’re exploring signing him
I mean, hand the guy a pen and paper and get this deal done! The Raven, under the gun of QB Joe Flacco, will need to find a replacement in the absents of Flacco as he will be out up to six week due to an disc injury to his back. Looks like a perfect fit to me!
