We have all have that one brother from another mother right? We’ll apparently Kanye West and Jay Z’s bromance has come to a hault after their Tidal/Apple music beef.
During Kanye’s highlighted Saint Pablo Tour stop in Seattle, Kanye felt the urge to confess his issues against his ‘N**** in Paris’ homie, HOV. Yeezy blurted to the crowd, “Our kids have never even played together,” which is in reference toward Blue Ivy Carter and North West. In the words of Kanye, the rumored collaboration album between him and Drake was paused due to his involvement with Jay’s Tidal.
“Yall ain’t get what yall was suppose to get with me and Drake because of some Tidal/Apple (Music) bulls***t, West stated. This s*** got me tight yo! Every time I perform (‘Ni**** In Paris’), I think about this s**t. I think about the politics and the bulls***. I think about how hard I go for music, for art, for yall, the fans. How hard we go.”
According to multiple sources, the Tidal/ Apple conflict is also one of the main reasons Jay didn’t want his verse on Drake’s “Pop Style.” Out of respect of Meek Mill, whose superstar girlfriend happens to be Nicki Minaj and is affiliated with Tidal, Jay decided this wasn’t the best move. Kanye also added how frustrated he is due to their children never having a play date.
“It went into some political bulls*** about percentage on songs. I can’t take this sh**, bro! Our kids have never even played together.”
Kanye also publicized how Jay did call after his Kim Kardashian West’ Parisian robbery, but felt Jay should have come to his house “like brothers,” instead of a measley phone call. Check out the live stream video below:
