Kathy Griffin is in hot water over a graphic photo of her holding a bloody head resembling Donald Trump.
Law enforcement states that the secret service has launched an investigation into “the circumstances surrounding the photo shoot.” The photo was shot by famed photographer Tyler Shields.
Kathy apologized for the image on Tuesday, but it was too little too late.
I am sorry. I went too far. I was wrong. pic.twitter.com/LBKvqf9xFB

CNN released a statement on Wednesday speaking on their decision to terminate Griffin. “CNN has terminated our agreement with Kathy Griffin to appear on our New Year’s Eve program.”
That statement was much milder than their original, “We found what she did disgusting and offensive.”
Anderson Cooper also shared his thoughts on his co-host and her photo. “For the record, I am appalled by the photo shoot Kathy Griffin took part in,” he tweeted Tuesday night. “It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate.”

Twitter Fingers took to social media to chastise Griffin over the picture and suggested his 11 year old son, Barron, is having a hard time.
Kathy Griffin should be ashamed of herself. My children, especially my 11 year old son, Barron, are having a hard time with this. Sick!

Melania Trump added her two cents via a statement issued by her press secretary, Stephanie Grisham, “As a mother, a wife, and a human being, that photo is very disturbing.”
Additionally, Route 66 Casino Hotel in New Mexico announced on Facebook it had canceled a performance by Griffin scheduled for July at the resort.
