It’s no secret that actor Vin Disel’s most recognizable work is the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise. What started as modest B list movie back in 2001 has evolved into 8 picture franchise. The blockbuster franchise is Disel’s baby. He gave it new life back in 2009 when he returned for the fourth installment. With four more movies and a couple billion dollars later, we now have the empire which exist today.
While that might be enough for most stars, it now appears that Vin Disel is looking to bring the high octane action to an arena near you. In a Facebook video, Disel announced that he would be starring in a ‘Fast & Furious’ live arena tour.
“As you know, my work with ‘Fast and Furious’ never ends, which I’m grateful for because of you all,” Vin, who plays Dominic Toretto, said in the Facebook video. “I am in New York, believe it or not, and we are filming something that is going to be pretty state of the art, something no one’s ever seen before, which is a live show.”
The show is set to include re-creations of some of the stunts and cars within the eight-film franchise. Like I said, I’m not mad at him; if isn’t broke, then don’t fix it.
