The hate is real! LeBron James’ LA home was targeted by vandals on Wednesday, according to authorities.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call that someone had spray-painted a racial slur on a gate leading to James’ property in the Brentwood around 6:45 a.m.
The racial slur was painted over by 9:30 a.m. and Capt. Patricia Sandoval, a spokeswoman for the LAPD, told The Associated Press that the property manager believes the incident was captured on surveillance video.
Records show James bought the house back in 2015. James’ agent, Rich Paul, declined to comment.
For obvious reasons James was not home at the time of the incident. LeBron and the Cleveland Cavaliers are currently in the Bay area preparing for game 1 of the NBA Finals beginning June 1.
