Michael Vick Believes A Haircut Will Fix Colin Kaepernick’s Current NFL Status

Michael Vick stepped right into the fire with statements he made about Colin Kaepernick during an appearance on Fox Sports 1’s ‘Speak For Yourself.’

The NFL player had a few pieces of advice for Kaepernick in regards to his status in the National Football League, but made it clear that he wasn’t in any attempt to be ‘politically correct.’

“First thing we got to get Colin to do is cut his hair,” Vick said.

He suggested Colin replace the afro with a more ‘clean cut’ in effort to look more ‘presentable’ and appeal more to NFL teams, but his ‘advice’ didn’t end there.

“I just think perception and image is everything. This is not the Colin Kaepernick that we’ve known since he entered the National Football League,” Vick said. “I’m just going off my personal experiences. Listen, I love the guy to death. But I want him to also succeed on and off the field. This has to be a start for him.”

As far as the backlash, Vick already seemed pretty prepared since he continued to elaborate on the show without holding back.

“It’s not about selling out. When you’re good, and you’re playing great, then you’re going to be wanted. People are going to want to sign you, going to want to see you play,” Vick said.

Mike also said his political protests were not the reason for his current standing in the league.

The former Atlanta quarterback went even further to give his two cents on Kaepernick’s performance from the last two seasons, which he believes is the most contributing factor to his current career status.

Vick elaborated on the importance of ‘image and perception’ while admitting his stubbornness to also accept other’s advice, while he was shooting for a second chance at one point as well.

I foresee a ‘donkey of the day’ in Vick’s future, where’s Charlamagne Tha God when you need him?
