Nicki Minaj got a bit political at Tidal’s benefit concert last night.
Saturday night, Minaj expressed that she wasn’t here for the men who choose uneducated women over intelligent women (story of an educated woman’s life, right?) The “Pinkprint” rapper pointed out that a strong man needs a strong woman, using Barack and Michelle Obama as well as Bill and Hillary Clinton as examples.
Minaj explained to Brooklyn’s Barclay Center, “You n**gas are so f**king weak, ya’ll got the audacity to be intimidated by a bad motherf**king queen and get your ** feelings hurt.” The Trinidad native continued “‘Cause Barack needed Michelle, bi**ch. And Bill needed a motherf**king Hillary, b**ch. You better pray to God you don’t get stuck with a motherf**king Melania.”

No shade intended, but shade intended.
While the media headlined Nicki’s speech that she was “dragging” Melania, Minaj took to her Twitter Sunday morning saying that she wasn’t “dragging’ the potential first lady at all. She tweeted, “Wasn’t “dragging”. She seems nice. But a smart man knows he needs a certain “kind” of woman when running for President/attempting greatness.”
