Tuesday afternoon news broke out that the officers involved within the tragic videotaped shooting of Alton Sterling will not be charged.
And according to the Washington Post, Alton’s family has not been contacted regarding the matter.
Ryan Julison, a spokesman for Sterling family’s attorneys stated, “We have not heard nor received an update and are unaware of any charges that may or may not be filed. We have not received word, nor has the family been given any notice of upcoming updates regarding this case.”
Sterling was held down and killed July 5, 2016 in Baton Rouge, LA.
