Put Some Respeck On His Name! Rick Ross Comes for Birdman in New Song

Rick Ross is spilling all the tea on his new album ‘Rather You Than Me.’ Not only did he name drop Nicki Minaj but he is taking big shots at Cash Money leader, Birdman.

His album is set for release tomorrow, but the words of the new diss track ‘Idols Become Rivals’ are already up on Genius.  In the song, he says:

“I used to see you niggas on my TV screen
And wondered what was life like, was it all a dream?
And then I met you out on LiveNation dates
Came to the realization that your watch was fake
Damn… you nearly broke my heart
I really thought you niggas really owned them cars”

“You stole them boys pub and bought a foreclosure
Scott Storch demons in it, which is more poison
I handed over records, never charged a coin
But consist the sentiment, I’m talkin’ all alone
All Miami issues, Rozay handle for him”

“I pray you find the kindness in your heart for Wayne
His entire life, he gave you what there was to gain
I watched this whole debacle so I’m part to blame
Last request, can all producers please get paid?”

Well damn! 2017 is clearly the year of rap beefs! We’ll be excited to hear the song tomorrow. Do you think Birdman will clapback?

  1. You know, usually when there’s more than 20 comments I don’t like commenting because it goes unnoticed (nobody really scrolls down to read them all) but this time is different. I just LOVED your post. You’ve put in words what most women don’t unnedstadr, myself included. It’s like an eye-opener. A little snooze. And for the record, I don’t like texting either. It’s just too complicated to have the other person understand exactly what you meant to say.
