Report: Derrick Rose Considering His Future Playing Basketball Could Be Over

It’s not a surprise the former NBA MVP has had his shares of disappointments from tearing his ACL, ankle injuries, and even family issues that kept him from his day to day dealing with the league for the past five years. Well, looks like Rose is re-evaluating his stance on continuing playing basketball.

According to ESPN,

As one Cavaliers source tells ESPN about Rose: “He’s tired of being hurt and it’s taking a toll on him mentally.”

Rose is currently out as he recovers from yet another injured ankle. Rose has dealt with a variety of knee injuries since tearing his ACL in 2012. After his long term career in his hometown of Chicago with the Bulls, Rose was traded to the New York Knicks in the summer of 2016. Rose only sent one season with the Knicks and signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2017. Hopefully, he can get things together and regain his confidence.
