Travis Scott apparently likes to have his concerts ‘turnt’ to the max. The rapper was arrested Saturday night after performing in Rogers, Arkansas for reportedly inciting a riot.
According to police, Travis encouraged fans to rush this stage during his performance. As a result, security protocol was breached, and many people were injured.
Immediately after his performance, Travis was booked arrested for inciting a riot, endangering the welfare of a minor, and disorderly conduct.
Across the interwebs, the hashtag #freetravisscott began trending. However, the “Goosebumps” artist was released without bail shortly after his arrest on Saturday at 11:30 pm. According to TMZ, Travis will be back in Arkansas for a scheduled court date.
TMZ reports that the rapper never had the intention of putting anyone in danger.
In case you forgot, this isn’t the first time Travis has been in trouble for inciting fans. In the past, he’s encouraged fans at Lollapalooza in Chicago and a recent event in NYC to ‘turn up’ in a similar fashion during his performance.
Guess being a lil too ‘turnt’ can get you in trouble, after all.
