ESPN host #JemeleHill has been under fire (by Trump supporters) for calling Donald Trump a white supremacist on twitter. In a series of tweets she said:
“Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists.
Trump is the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime. His rise is a direct result of white supremacy. Period.
The height of white privilege is being able to ✌🏾ignore✌🏾his white supremacy, because it’s of no threat to you. Well, it’s a threat to me.”
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Hill should be fired. She said:
That is one of the more outrageous comments that anybody could make and certainly is something that is a fireable offense by ESPN.
The National Association of Black Journalists has sent their support to Hill.

All this backlash over…the truth? The white supremacists in Charlottesville wanted their free speech rights protected. I guess Jemele’s free speech rights don’t matter now that she bashed their leader.
